The Iowa Food Protection Task Force is a group of individuals and organizations interested in food safety and defense. The Task Force members include federal, state, and local government agencies; commodity groups; food related trade associations; food producers; academia; and others. The Task Force meets 2 to 3 times per year. The Task Force also sponsors educational opportunities.

The Iowa Food Protection Task Force collaborates with all partners in food safety and defense to achieve foodborne illness prevention, intervention, and response. We serve as the resource for safe food and feed information and education.
